Our bespoke service invites you to create a unique piece in your vision, complemented by our signature design details, strict parameters of quality and ethical foundations.
Bespoke SARAH & SEBASTIAN can take many shapes and forms yet will always reflect our brand DNA through refined design elements. We encourage you to be inspired by our existing body of work, in order to define the aspects you wish to bring to life in your piece. Visual references and specific preferences will assist us to create a piece that is uniquely yours.
Entrenched in the bespoke service is our passion for ethical manufacturing and supply chain. Each element of a bespoke piece is cherry-picked by our inhouse gemologists and the piece itself crafted by hand at our Sydney workshop. Our bespoke service starts from AUD $3,000 and has a six week lead time after design confirmation.
Some of the key bespoke elements to consider are outlined below.
METAL
We offer a choice of 10k, 14k, 18k in yellow, white or rose gold and platinum.
STONES
We have an extensive global network of premium, ethical suppliers that can source precious stones in an array of colour, carat and shapes. Some of our most requested stones include (however aren’t limited to); Diamonds, garnets, tanzanites, morganites, aquamarines, emeralds, rubies and sapphires.
STYLE
We can create any jewellery style as bespoke including rings (engagement and wedding bands), necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
DETAILS
Design comes to life in the details, whether it be a pavé band, complementing shoulder stones or cluster setting. We can advise on design details based on stone, silhouette and metal preferences.
I ENQUIRY
Reach out to our online customer care team or visit us in-store to start the bespoke conversation. At this first step in the process we will request design preferences, size, indicative budgets and any deadlines. We encourage you to look through our existing designs to inspire you and to use as references for the piece you would like to create with us.
II APPOINTMENT
We see our bespoke service as a collaboration, so face to face communication is an integral part of the process. We offer in-store and virtual appointments to discuss in deeper detail your bespoke piece. With the information provided from your initial enquiry, during your appointment we will share first draft visual concepts, stone and metal suggestions as well as preliminary costings in order to refine the design of your piece.
Post appointment, we will follow up with renderings of your bespoke piece and the final quote. To proceed to the next stage we request that a fifty percent deposit is made. Your deposit confirms your commitment and covers both the time invested by our designers and gemologist to design and source each unique component.
III STONE SOURCING
Depending on your bespoke design we will work with our in-house gemologist to source a unique stone that is a perfect match for you and your piece. We have longstanding relationships with premium suppliers, both local and international, ensuring access to an extensive selection of precious stones in an array of colour, carat and shapes.
After we undergo a thorough vetting process in regards to quality, preference and budget, we will confidently present the stone/s we’ve hand-picked with imagery and stone specifications as well as a final design render.
IV PRODUCTION
Upon confirmation of your chosen stone/s, production will commence at our Sydney workshop. Given the complex nature of bespoke, the production is reserved for our master jewellers, regarded for their extensive experience and finessed craftsmanship.
As our full product range is made to order in our Sydney workshop by a small team, we set our bespoke production timeline as six weeks. This ensures we can sustainably manage our inhouse manufacturing team and ensure the utmost craftsmanship and stringent quality control.
V FINAL APPOINTMENT
Once your bespoke piece has been completed, we will contact you to arrange a final appointment for collection or secure shipping. Prior to handover, payment of your invoice balance will be requested and if required, we will assist with arranging insurance for peace of mind.
